Restless, exhausted
Busy, slacking
Certain, confused
Bursting, bottling up
Strong, fragile
Excited, stagnating
and so many other
Constant contradictions
Wondering
If everyone feels
This
Intensely
All
The time
Resisting
The temptation to numb out
Knowing
I would be a lot more productive
if
I were numb
Tired
of being numb and productive
Tired
of picking up the pieces
from years
of being Numb
Does Not
have Time for this
right now
but
knows that
Nothing
will change
until I make time
to deal with it.
I would give anything for adventure if you would give everything for love.
