I picture you there
On the other side of the world
in a culture you belong in
with the people that you have loved for years
And I'm so happy for you
And my heart aches
And I'm so happy for me
For all the amazing times we shared
For all the amazing memories we created
For all the wisdom you passed along to me
For all the ways that you were there for me
For all that I learned from you
For looking forward to seeing you again somewhere else
For the faith in humanity
that I will meet other people who I love just as much
as I love you
And my heart still aches.
